Unveiling the Joy of Year-End Festive Season Around the World

Cheval Blanc Paris Unveils Its Festive Creations by Maxime Frédéric:

“The King of the Forest” Festive Yule Log and Galette des Rois

To celebrate the festive season and Epiphany, Maxime Frédéric, Pastry Chef at Cheval Blanc Paris, and his team present two exquisite creations: a swirling Christmas tree yule log and a daisy-shaped galette des rois. Named “The King of the Forest”, the yule log features a handcrafted chocolate tree piped Saint-Honoré style, with sweeping curves hiding praline hearts, mendiants, and layers of 75% dark chocolate. Golden needles reveal textured chocolate, topped by a chocolate horse, while a crown of gifts at the base conceals a Poire Belle-Hélène–inspired dessert with almond crisp, spiced biscuit, milk chocolate cream, poached pears in pear-vanilla gel, and light fromage blanc mousse.

For Epiphany, the daisy-shaped galette boasts airy Normandy butter puff pastry, caramelised sugar, and meticulously arranged petals, encasing a melting almond frangipane with a hint of bitter almond. Both creations celebrate wonder, delight, and the joy of sharing simple pleasures — a season to savor a little, a lot, passionately… or even madly.

Le Bristol Paris Unveils Its Iconic Gifts for Christmas

When the festive season arrives, Le Bristol Paris adorns itself in its most exquisite finery, inviting guests to celebrate the year’s end wrapped in elegance and refinement. Between gourmet creations, unique experiences, and treasures to slip beneath the Christmas tree, the legendary hotel on rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré showcases the full richness of its timeless art de vivre.

Pastry Chef Maxence Barbot presents a limited-edition chocolate log, sculptural Epiphany galettes, and a refined praline and ganache collection starring the playful Socrate figurine. The season also brings meaningful collectible gifts, including the bespoke CLUEDO – Palace Edition board game (limited to 1,000 copies) and Le Bristol Paris: Ode à un Art de Vivre, a beautifully illustrated anniversary book celebrating the hotel’s century of refinement.

To mark its centenary, the palace partners with Maison Trudon to create Honoré, an exclusive fragrance that evokes its sunlit gardens and heritage through notes of vetiver, white musk, cedar, and wheat. Under the Christmas tree, elegance takes wearable form with the Sporty & Rich x Le Bristol Paris capsule and the launch of Le Bristol Society, the hotel’s debut ready-to-wear line.

The property transforms into a festive sanctuary with a sparkling fir forest in the French Garden and a handcrafted Neapolitan nativity scene in the lobby. Seasonal delights continue with Barbot’s winter afternoon tea, holiday menus by Chef Arnaud Faye at Epicure*** and 114 Faubourg*, and celebratory New Year’s experiences at Café Antonia, while Spa Le Bristol by La Mer offers rejuvenating rituals by La Mer, Tata Harper, and Bonpoint—inviting guests into a beautifully suspended moment of serenity in the heart of Paris.
