Following the announcement of The 2025 MICHELIN Key Hotels on 8 October 2025, The Peninsula Hotels is proud to share that all 12 of its namesake properties received recognition within the prestigious global guide, with 11 earning at least a One Key distinction. This distinguished recognition reaffirms The Peninsula’s position as a leader in hospitality, celebrated for its unwavering commitment to exceptional service and timeless elegance.
Launched in 2024, The MICHELIN Key Hotels honour the world’s finest properties, awarding One, Two, or Three Keys to reflect levels of excellence, from exceptional stays to truly extraordinary experiences.
The 2025 ratings mark significant milestones for The Peninsula portfolio, with The Peninsula London earning the highest distinction of Three Keys and The Peninsula Istanbul receiving the city’s only Two Keys rating. Mirroring the inaugural 2024 results, The Peninsula Paris, The Peninsula Bangkok, The Peninsula Chicago, and The Peninsula Beverly Hills were once again honoured with Two Keys, while The Peninsula New York and The Peninsula Tokyo maintained their One Key recognition.
For the first time, The Peninsula Hong Kong and The Peninsula Shanghai have each been awarded Two Keys, while The Peninsula Beijing earned One Key. The Peninsula Manila received a ‘Selected’ distinction, recognising the hotel as ‘a high-quality stay.’
“We are honoured that each of our hotels has been recognised in the 2025 MICHELIN Keys,” said Gareth Roberts, Chief Operating Officer, The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited. “These distinctions reflect the unwavering commitment of our teams to delivering exceptional service and timeless experiences, and they inspire us to continue setting the standard for hospitality excellence worldwide.”
