Festive Shop and Stay in Partnership with Harrods

Located in one of London’s best shopping districts, just a short stroll to Knightsbridge, The Lanesborough makes the perfect base from which to purchase Christmas gifts and soak up the city’s festive spirit. The hotel for 2025 has partnered with neighbouring luxury department store Harrods, to incorporate a luxury personal shopping experience in-store and a welcome Harrods hamper in your room or suite on arrival.

We’ll take care of all the little extras, with chauffeur-driven car transfers and butlers to collect your shopping whilst you stroll the sparkling streets of London’s revered shopping district.

Christmas in Residence

The Lanesborough offers a magical home away from home this festive season with the Christmas in Residence package; perfect for a decadent Regency escape in the capital. During three days in residence at the hotel, guests will enjoy a magical Christmas Eve with a festive tipple offered to you on arrival by your Butler, a beautifully decorated Christmas tree in your room or suite, a chauffeur-driven car to Harrods to pick up any final presents, and onto St. Paul’s Church in Knightsbridge for a jolly evening service – with the benefit of having a dedicated Butler on hand to help with any last-minute present wrapping.

Christmas Day will dawn with a delightful breakfast, hand-delivered by the Butler and served in bed if preferred, or in The Lanesborough Grill, while little ones enjoy their personalised Lanesborough stocking. After the excitement of exchanging gifts, residents can join loved ones around the table at The Lanesborough Grill for a sumptuous five-course Christmas Day lunch, followed by a live broadcast of the King’s Speech and a visit from Santa Claus. Boxing Day begins with a quintessential English breakfast and the opportunity to take a chauffeur-driven car to Harrods to make the most of the Boxing Day sales and a late check out or some relaxation time in our award-winning Lanesborough Club & Spa. The Lanesborough’s flagship modern British restaurant, The Lanesborough Grill will play host to a series of celebratory and immersive dining experiences from The Lanesborough’s flagship modern British restaurant, from 19th November 2025 to 6th January 2026. The exclusive Festive Set Menu has been created by acclaimed Executive Chef, Shay Cooper to honour the very finest of British produce.

Starters include Terrine of chicken, celeriac and fig, hazelnut brioche, Cave aged Cheddar pastry, celery, pickled walnut, cider vinaigrette (v) mains including Shay’s Norfolk turkey wellington, parsnip, cranberry and sherry along with Grilled sea trout, Jerusalem artichokes, truffled mushroom pasta, desserts include The Lanesborough Christmas pudding, brandy sauce, vanilla ice cream or Festive yule log, dark chocolate and cherry. Selections of British Cheeses from The Cheese trolley are available at a supplement.

Bridgerton Festive Afternoon Tea

It doesn’t get much more festive or Instagram able than The Lanesborough’s Bridgerton Festive Afternoon Tea created in partnership with Netflix and Shondaland. The limited-edition tea will pay homage to the Regency era during Christmas time; a time of great revelling and high style, of elegant parties, balls, and grand dinners, with a contemporary twist, available from 12th November 2025 to 6th January 2026.

Setting the scene, the Bridgerton Festive Afternoon Tea will take place in The Lanesborough’s richly decorated dining room, naturally illuminated during the day by a domed glass roof while seductively aglow under softly lit chandeliers in the evening. A Regency icon in the capital, beneath the original sky dome there is bas-relief artwork meticulously cast from 250 different moldings, and Wedgwood China mounted on the walls, evoking a sense of Regency neo-classical grandeur. Carefully led by The Lanesborough’s Head Pastry Chef, Jolan Thiry, the menu will pay tribute to the key families in Shondaland and Netflix’s Bridgerton Season 3 with a festive twist. Finger sandwiches will comprise of Roast Norfolk turkey, cranberry, chestnut and sage, truffled egg mayonnaise, organic cucumber, garlic and herb cream, juniper cured Scottish salmon, lemon mayonnaise.

A pre-festive celebration, four-course choice Christmas Eve dinner will be available in The Lanesborough Grill, to kick off the festive celebrations, with live entertainment. Highlights from Shay’s menu include native lobster macaroni, Hereford beef Wellington, line-caught sea bass, a fabulous British cheese course and to finish a selection of indulgent desserts from Christmas pudding to Cranberry Bakewell tart.

A Very British Christmas Day Lunch

Those seeking a well-deserved break from their kitchens can treat themselves to an exceptional British Christmas Day Lunch in the richly decorated dining room of The Lanesborough Grill. Naturally illuminated during the day by a domed glass roof while seductively aglow under softly lit chandeliers in the evening – it is the perfect setting for an unforgettable Christmas Day with loved ones.

The five- course choice menu will feature modern classics such as Oak Smoked salmon, poached langoustine, buckwheat pancake, sorrel, traditional roast turkey and all the trimmings, British Cheeses and to finish Lanesborough Christmas pudding, brandy sauce, vanilla ice cream – served with a glass of Champagne to get in the celebratory spirit.

Christmas Day Buffet Lunch

A decadent Christmas Day buffet will also be served in The St George’s Room with views to Wellington Arch, erected at the same time as the hotel building, in celebration of Britain’s victory in the Napoleonic Wars. High ceilings, chandeliers, period artworks, a cosy lit original Regency fireplace featuring beautiful wood marquetry make for majestic surroundings to enjoy Christmas Day lunch.

Featuring seasonal delicacies from lobster vol-au-vent and smoked salmon to traditional roast turkey and truffled chestnut roast. Finish with indulgent festive desserts, from Christmas pudding to yule log, alongside live entertainment.

Boxing Day Jazz Dinner

Celebrate Boxing Day with a refined three-course menu at The Lanesborough Grill. Starters include coronation crab, Orkney scallop kedgeree and Westcombe cheddar soufflé, followed by mains such as dry-aged rib-eye, salt marsh lamb chops or grilled turbot. To finish, enjoy indulgent desserts from sticky toffee pudding to whisky millionaire shortbread, plus a selection of British cheeses.

New Year’s Eve in Residence Package

Guests can ring in the new year in serious style with The Lanesborough’s New Year’s Eve in Residence package. Checking in on 31 December, residents will be greeted by a welcome Lanesborough tipple on arrival. A chilled bottle of Champagne awaits with New Year amenities to toast to good health and prosperity when the clock strikes midnight. To usher in 2026, the package includes a spectacular six-course dinner with live festive entertainment in The Lanesborough Grill. The following day, guests in residence can kickstart the New Year by indulging in a traditional English breakfast served in the comfort of their room by their very own personal butler or in The Lanesborough Grill. A late check-out of 6pm allows plenty of time for R&R before departure, in the luxurious surrounds of The Lanesborough Club & Spa.

Highlights include Dorset crab cocktail, native lobster thermidor tartlet, truffled chicken broth, and Hereford beef fillet, followed by Sharpham Brie and a decadent dulce cheesecake.

New Year’s Eve – The Library Bar at The Lanesborough

Alternatively, one can raise a glass to 2026 in the privacy of The Library Bar – a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of city life, with dimmed lighting, grand surrounds, and the UK’s best Cognac and single malt Whisky selection with bottles dating back to 1770.
