Award-winning Highland distiller Tomatin has today revealed an exceptional new bourbon-matured 10-year-old single malt whisky, available in Waitrose and on Amazon. This new addition to the range brings a taste of the Highlands to whisky lovers across the UK and follows the success of Tomatin Double Cask, which launched in Tesco and on Amazon earlier this year and is planned for release in countries around the world throughout 2026.
Many Tomatin whiskies are finished in sherry and wine casks, but for the new 10-year-old, the distillery opted to draw on its bourbon cask experience, which it has been developing since the 1930s. Exclusively matured for a decade in bourbon casks, the new single malt has a sweet, fruity, buttery profile.

It’s impossible to hide a bad whisky in a bourbon barrel, and over the years we’ve mastered the art of maturation in these special barrels to create a whisky that’s honest, full of character and exquisite in its simplicity.”

Tomatin Distillery was founded in 1897 and is one of the few distilleries where over half of the production team still live on site. Tomatin is also one of only a handful of distilleries in Scotland with its own cooperage, and the renowned Highland whisky is available worldwide.

Nose: Aromas of lemon sherbet sweets and crunchy green apples followed by buttery croissants, white chocolate and macadamia nuts.
Palate: Lemon meringue pie, honey and a touch of toffee are complemented by apricot and peach.
