Lamar Development Launches Casa Lamar Cedaceros 9 in Madrid

A landmark address in the heart of Madrid’s historic district, offering 22 ultra-luxury residences with unprecedented amenities and services

Lamar Development – the global real estate group defining design-led luxury homes – has launched Casa Lamar Cedaceros 9, marking the debut of its ultra-luxury Casa Lamar brand, designed by interior designer Patricia Urquiola. The unveiling signals the start of sales for this landmark development in one of Madrid’s most prestigious districts.

In the heart of Madrid, Calle de Cedaceros has quickly secured its place as one of the city’s most coveted
addresses. This landmark development at Casa Lamar Cedaceros 9 comprises just 22 residences, each
meticulously crafted by Patricia Urquiola. From one to five-bedroom apartments, homes are defined by
bespoke detailing, a sophisticated marble palette, and warm, tactile finishes that imbue each space with
understated elegance.

Beyond the interiors, Casa Lamar Cedaceros 9 offers a suite of unparalleled lifestyle amenities: a private wine
cellar, a spa with an indoor swimming pool, a treatment suite with steam room and sauna, a state-of-the-art
fitness centre, a landscaped roof garden and private parking — all designed to create a seamless balance of
personal restoration and refined urban living.

Casa Lamar is dedicated to ultra‐luxury residences and founded on key pillars: architectural integrity and
value, exclusivity, cultural relevance, privacy, enduring worth, and a global identity expressed through local
character. Global in scope yet deeply connected to each city, Casa Lamar establishes a new model of
discreet, design‐led living – beginning by setting new standards of luxury in the Madrid market with the
uniquely premium Cedaceros 9. Lamar Development will continue to expand to other key destinations as
part of the company’s €250 million European expansion.

This unique conversion from office to high-end residential at Casa Lamar Cedaceros 9 blends period features
with modern necessities. Madrid-based architecture firm Touza Arquitectos has sensitively restored original
elements, from the preserved neo-Mudéjar red brick courtyard façade to the striking travertine marble street
façade, creating a dialogue between past and present. With over four decades of award-winning experience,
Touza Arquitectos is recognized for balancing urban sensitivity with clarity of form, restoring what matters
while refining what is new.

Patricia Urquiola lends her vision of purposeful elegance transforming every interior into a space that is as conceptually refined as it is emotionally resonant. The residences balance natural warmth with contemporary elegance. Interiors are defined by deep, earthy tones, tactile oak finishes, and bespoke details that create a sense of ease and refinement.

Each kitchen serves as sculptural centres of the home, crafted from richly veined stones with unique counter tops personalised to each residence. Rich travertine contrasts with warm wooden cabinetry — a dialogue of materiality that feels both timeless and modern. Throughout, Urquiola introduces gentle curves, layered lighting, and bespoke wooden details that soften geometry and imbue the apartments with intimacy.

Patricia Urquiola, Interior Designer, commented: “With Lamar we began a conversation in Dubai, a shared language of curated living with quality and craft. Casa Lamar Cedaceros 9 continues this dialogue in Madrid: personalised luxury, close to everyday life.”

For the first time in Madrid, the residential development will introduce a hospitality-grade lifestyle designed as a natural extension of the home. Wellness amenities include a high-performance gym with functional training, boxing and pilates facilities, an indoor pool, a hydrotherapy circuit with sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and three immersion pools (cold, warm, hot), alongside massage rooms and a beauty corner.

Social and gastronomic amenities extend to a Residents’ Club and Lounge Bar, a sommelier-curated private wine cellar, a private Txoko for showcookings and tastings, a signature cocktail bar and a rooftop terrace with relaxation area and panoramic views of Madrid. Services include a 24-hour concierge capable of managing everything from daily errands to bespoke requests, a doorman, and 24-hour security — all complemented by the privacy of underground parking.

Just steps from the Four Seasons Hotel, Nobu Hotel, and the Spanish Congress, Casa Lamar Cedaceros 9 introduces a new benchmark for design-led urban living in one of the city’s most historic districts. Once home to 17th‐century guilds the development is located in close proximity to the elegant Barrio de Salamanca, Jerónimos and the increasingly popular Justica, Cedaceros sits at the intersection of Madrid’s political, cultural, and hospitality spheres.

Framed by landmarks including the Prado Museum, El Retiro Park, Círculo de Bellas Artes, and Gran Vía, the neighborhood is emerging as the capital’s premier destination for luxury living. Henri Hottinger, Partner of Lamar Development, commented: “Casa Lamar will bring a fresh perspective on luxury to the Madrid residential market, prioritising exceptional design, distinctive materials
